Paperdolls
I have been designing and self-publishing paperdoll sets for the last 22 years,
marketing then through my paper doll catalog. I attend the national paperdoll conventions
where old and new friends meet to collect and sell vintage, commercially produced paper dolls.
I am lucky to have found my market and have enjoyed great success.
I received my BFA in Fashion Illustration from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles,California
where I freelanced as a Fashion Illustrator for several years before returning to Colorado.
I've taught drawing classes through the Adult Ed. Classes for Denver University as well as Colorado University.
The class was called.. "I Can't Draw a Straight Line"
and was attended by lots of folks who thought they could not draw. Lots of fun..
I have recently been working in the Altered Books arena of art as well as
making collaged greeting cards using paperdoll images from various magazines.
My Altered Art has been on display at the Artists' Nook in Ft.Collins and
at The Erie Community Library as well as many Paperdoll Publications.
