"Good Intentions"

What do I do?
I know…Take a step
Just put one foot in front of the other

I know…Heel toe, heel toe
It’s easy you see
Except for me

I know…Life is a journey
But unfortunately
I’ve forgotten where I was going

Oh yes, I know…One step at a time towards death
A destination unfulfilled

If I die
Will I be remembered and Why?
Oh, But good intentions
They keep me alive

I know…I’ll intend to die
My life complete
I close my eyes
I fall to sleep
