My goal is to capture the essence of every subject represented, or abstract constructed.
This can be through a focus on use of color, light and shade, or by juxtaposing concepts
that will reveal a greater depth of meaning for the viewer to appreciate.
I also strive for the highest possible quality in each work that I undertake, and continually push my style
so that through the beauty and serenity of Landscape, or the strength of line and form in Cityscape,
or the expressive nature of Figurative depictions my work will leave a powerful, positive and lasting impression.
I enjoy the freedom of using a variety of mediums, including pen, pencil, pastel and oil.
I studied for two years under classically trained portrait painter Marianne Billingsley.
My accomplishments include being juried into shows, doing a large-scale commission piece in oil
and selling works to private collections.
