I was born, raised and married in this little town of Erie, Colorado.
I have seen a lot of changes these past years and it's all for the good of our little town.
The reason I'm involved with A.C.E. is my passion for art.
It relaxes me and takes my mind off other things.
It gives me some quiet time for myself.
I have enjoyed drawing ever since I was a little kid,
but I never had a chance to pursue my talent.
When I became a Grandparent, I began drawing for my grandchildren.
They love my work and my family is excited with what I can do.
At the Erie Community Center, I picked up a flyer from the Senior Center and read that they
had lessons for oil painting so I signed up for a lesson and have been hooked ever since.
I have had my artwork displayed at the Erie Community Center
and the Erie Community Library
and was selected First Runnerup in my very first show for A.C.E.
